Business State Taxes

I've been using TurboTax for as long as I can remember. I also use Pro Series for my tax business. I only use the business program for a few businesses so I use TurboTax. I had already invested $150 for separate TurboTax Fed & State programs for my Sub S Corp. That puts me well over a grand $$ with Intuit. I started a return for another business for the same state and was told I had to pay $55 to buy the state program for Indiana. Are they telling me that Sub S and C Corp. programs are separate? Besides that, it cost me $50 for Indiana for my Sub S but they want $55 for the C Corp. Are they serious or just greedy???

Yes, each type of entity involves a separate purchase even though the returns for the entities are going to be filed in the same state.

Preparing state tax returns for more than one business?

When they are the same types of businesses (such as two S Corps) and file taxes in the same state, buy one product and use for all at no extra charge. Business State efile included.

When they are the same types of businesses (such as more than one LLC), but file taxes in different states, buy one product per state for $49.99. Business State efile included.

When they are different types of businesses (such as an S Corp and a partnership) and file taxes in the same state, purchase one product for each business type for $49.99 per each business type. Business State efile included.

Ok Ok! I guess I have to accept that, but can you explain why they want $55 and not $49.99??

Yes, there was a price increase.

Oh how could I forget....... there was a price increase on March 1.  The early prices expired.
