2014 amendment filed in 2017 resulting in a federal and state refund. Should I file 2015 amendment to account for the state tax refund?

I recently filed an ammanedment to my 2014 returns which will result in a refund of both federal and state taxes. Since I've been using itemized deductions, any state tax refund is shown as income in the following years' return. Should I therefore file an adjustment to my 2015 returns, showing this refund of state taxes? Or should I include it as part of my next years tax return?

You don't have to amend your 2015 return, because you didn't receive the refund in 2015. Instead, you will report your state refund on your federal tax return for 2017
