If the exclusion makes your income eligible for any credit you can amend your return to claim it. But wait until the IRS adjusts your return.
The IRS has been sending out form 15111 to alert you to the possibility of the EIC you may be eligible for after the unemployment exclusion when they recompute the return ... wait for that form to come so you can avoid the amending which will take at least 6 months to process.
