How long does it take to recieve remainder of my refund after tax offsets are taken out

How do you know if they already took money for an offset out of your refund? Mine says refund approved for 2-27-19 for my full amount is that right?

They took all of my state and the remaining balance was taken from my federal, on wmr it tells you that you owed an offset and that your refund was reduced, so you must not have an offset if it shows your full refund amount.

I have an offset for student loans, I tried to consolidate them a few weeks ago and just got the paperwork- now when I call the treasury number it no longer says I have a debt linked to my social security number- how will I know how much will be deposited, or how much they plan on taking? On the IRS website it says approved and the full amount will be deposited on the 27th, so I’m confused how I find out exactly how much they will actually take

It wont say the exact amount ot will be offset. It will just say your refund may be reduced. Thats what what mine ssys with a ddd

Mlewis on wmr does it say how much yours was reduced by or just that it may be reduced

Yes it shows the new amount you will receive after it was offset.

ericahensley22 I’m not sure but I had a code of 201 basically saying that it may not reflect offset and if additional funds are to be taken you will receive a letter explaining the offset.
