Why would I need to amend my state tax? Everytime I try to review my taxes to pay it takes me to a screen that says "must have detailed explanation for ammendment" but it doesnt give me any addition

If TurboTax wants an "explanation" then you clicked the AMEND button, knowingly or unknowingly.

Delete an amendment if you do not want to amend, and get back to just a regular tax return ready to be filed.
