If you are not due a tax refund, you are not able to enter your direct deposit information.
Thank you but I understood that direct deposit info was encouraged (even if you are not getting a refund) to facilitate COVID-related relief/stimulus payments.
My tax payment was suppose to be taken 2 weeks ago. Been trying to get a hold of the IRS, but can't. I looked at my return and noticed the correct account and routing number, but noticed that checking/savings was not checked, which I clear did check. I have been using this product for many, many years. This is frustrating if this is the reason for the hold up. If anything, I would think TurboTax would find the error and not let me file.
Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 1-888-353-4537 to inquire about your payment, but please wait 7 to 10 days after your return was accepted before calling.
