Why I can’t see and print the state taxes in turbo tax?

I'm having the same problem lots of other people are having. I can't view my state (Idaho) documents prior to filing. Even after having a patch sent to me.

Try deleting your browser's cookies. Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ regarding  How to delete cookies! If that doesn't work, try using a different browser all together. Then follow the steps in this FAQ on How to preview your return prior to filing?

I cannot print  Maryland tax forms (on a Mac, either for pdf or hard copy) even though they are supposed to be available to print.  I do not get an error message; the program simply hangs up. I have no trouble with the federal forms.

I am using a disc bought directly from turbotax.  I have been using the program for over ten years and never had this problem

additional interesting  information:

I tried opening  a specific form and then using the "print active form."  command.  this worked once.  the next time I tried it the program crashed again.  

It should be obvious to turbotax that this is a systemic program issue, affecting  both online and Cd users, across multiple computer platforms.

I had completed my 2021 federal and Maryland state taxes in April. I e-filed my federal taxes then. I just opened turbotax and opened forms but did not find state tax forms. How do I access state forms.

Are any of the forms you used to file listed as not ready here? As this can cause this to happen.

To access and print your tax returns (current or prior year) you will sign into the TurboTax website with the user ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

As an alternative for current year return, when you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a State (You will not really be adding a state). 

This will take you back in to the 2024 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Find the Print Center and choose the year you want to print.  If you want your full return including worksheets, choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets.

This option does not exists: Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF).

As soon as I log in it takes me to a questionnaire about doing my taxes. I looked around and can only find documents I upload in the past (W2's). So stupid, my taxes have been uploaded and accepted but I can't save or print a copy. Typical Intuit, years old problem still exists.

@Jamz58 When you scrolled down you were to click on Add a state.  Did you do that?

Have you completed the 2024 tax return by going through the File section of the program and finished Step 3 to either e-file or select to print your return for mailing?  If not then the Add a state link will not be available.

If you are in the 2024 online tax return, click on one of the sections such as Wages & Income and click on Review/Edit.  This will bring up the links on the left side of the online program screen, to include Tax Home.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
