Why can't i find tax tools on left menu

My menu only has Tax Home and Documents, no Tax Tools

You might need to be inside your current return or start a return for the side menus to open up.  Continue into your return a few screens.

Tax Tools appears when you are working on a return.  If you have already filed your taxes, you need to go to the bottom of the page and click Add a State.  It will not add a state, but will get Tax Tools back.  Be careful not to make any changes to your return after you do that.  Any changes you make will change your filed return for your records.
