If you have an actual bank account to which you can deposit your refund check and wait for the check to clear, you should not have any problem at all.   Consider opening an account with a brick and mortar bank and deposit the check.    If you lack a bank account and are just trying to cash a large check somewhere, then yes, it will be a problem.   We cannot tell you who will cash that check  in your area if you do not have a bank account.
