Where are tax files stored? If I get rid of this computer before next year how will Turbo tax find my records? Should I store them in Dropbox?

I am using Turbotax Premier CD and it keeps asking for authentication!! And after five times of entering the authentication code that comes with the CD, , it totally fails!! A clear bug in the software that Turbotax must be aware of it since it started in prior years!! It is really amazing that Turbotax does not fix this known bug!!  It must be a business decision!! Amazing!! Unacceptable!!

Let me add that after each authentication, the program may work for a few days or even a month, but the notification comes up at the most unwanted time!!  It is very critical since one's tax return depends on the software working!!  Turbotax is very dangerous to rely on for preparing tax returns!! And I don't mean this lightly!!
