What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

Same here except I havent received my stimulus check yet either. They tried to send it to a bank account I have no idea wat account that was it was rejected twice the kicker is they mailed it on April 24th and its May 5th and I still havent recieved it. Yet the irs mailed me information regarding my taxes to the address I have been living out for a little over a year now. And yet it's still dangling in the mail or chillin in a mailbox I dont have access too. Talking bout beyond frustrated I'm passed that. Didnt know one ask for this pandemic and definitely didnt ask to be layedoff. This is beyond ridiculous. I've been receiving my taxes on the same account for 3 years now and still this is what they are doing.

Ok but what if i didnt file for 2018 but i filed my 2017 in 2019 and i filed my 2019 but i had to mail mine in cause someone filed identy thedt on my account. I havent even recieved my check for my 2017 return that was pose to have been mailed March 13

@Kimbryant2007 It was most likely selected as a random audit. They could be checking anything from verifying all income to having to verify your income or others items claimed on your return. If your calling the IRS number dont choose options dealing with finding out about your refund  choose other things like tax account. If it's something they need from you they will mail out a letter requesting needed information. As far as your stimulus try using your 2018 information address used and all to see if shows your eligible and proceed from there.

They said that we have a they have a case that they looked at and they closed it made first I paid TurboTax $80 still haven't received our state taxes I will not use TurboTax next year cuz this is bull **bleep**

Did you file 2018 by extension deadline, and has it been completely processed? If your 2019 is still processing then they would use your 2018 information unless it hasn't completed processing as well.
