What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

I spoke with IRS human last week on monday. They are taking calls if you want to talk to someone live call IRS 

1. Once you’ve set your language, do NOT choose Option 1 (regarding refund info). Choose option 2 for “Personal Income Tax” instead.
2. Next, press 1 for “form, tax history, or payment”.
3. Next, press 3 “for all other questions.”
4. Next, press 2 “for all other questions.”
5. When the system asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, do NOT enter anything.
6. After it asks twice, you will be prompted with another menu.
7. Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
8. Finally, press 4 for all other inquiries. The system should then transfer you to an agent.

Oh I know what you mean they don't know. I did find out that my taxes are being offset and I can't get any info because they did not send me a letter. Which everything I have read says the infoabout the offset is all in the letter. Hello still waiting with no info !

• Well, you absolutely are not alone! I filed my taxes on 04-02, and mine are still being processed, and my stimulus continues to say 'payment status not available'. It's very frustrating.  Everyone is talking about a second stimulus, hell I'd be happy just to get the first one.

It's not Turbotax. I've used Turbotax for many years and this is the first time there was a delay. The delay is from COVID19 and the IRS working from home.

I've been waiting too...not as long as you. I hope you get your money soon.

I filed in February and it still says my return is being processed absolutely disgraceful at this point! also they double dipped into both sides of my stimulus so I got absolutely nothing out of $3,900 it was all given to my husband's ex-wife she was only supposed to get half $1950. and there was a glitch in the system and now I don't know if they'll get it back! 😡 California caught the glitched and realized child support was taking both sides of the stimulus!! child support arrears should not have been taken out of a stimulus that people like myself desperately needed now I've been out of work since March I have three minor children with my husband he does owe child support and does pay it but because there was a rearz they were only supposed to take have I file form 83-79 every year with my taxes which entitles me to keep my half of the taxes which should have included my children why should my children stimulus be given two grown adults who are almost 30 years old at this point these children were from his high school sweetheart there were young teenagers when they had these kids that's how old some of this child support is absolutely ridiculous and he does pay it. 😡child support should never have been included in any stimulus every person should have been entitled to their full stimulus to help them get through these times. I'm a schoolteacher who lost my job back in March and I have zero income!

I am expering the same exact situation. I filed February 28th but filed an injured spouse form because my husband owes child support and still they took all of my stimulus and yet, I have not received any of my refund. I'm so frustrated

Same happened to me!!! Filed April 5th no stimulus check no federal tax but they emailing me for a payment!!!! Help me get my money faster and I will pay😡😠😡

I know how you al feel. Wife and I filed back in January 2 kids filing jointly no issues in years before but it still shows IRS Received it but we haven’t gotten a refund. Wtf I hate this. We need the money I don’t understand.

I filed my taxes and a injured spouse form on Feb 7 it was accepted on the 8th and still waiting on tax's and my stimulas for myself husband and stepson was all taken by California for child support even after the IRS split our stimulus in half and addressed 1 to my husband and the other half to me and my husband.(even though I already filled a injured spouse form) and both numbers for the IRS on the letter I got about the stimulus checks just go to a message saying no one is there to help.

Call the 18008290582 and put 652 ext they ans now i just spoke to someone twice this pass week they talking calls now

Ext 652 is working for sure. But they update many accounts in the last 48 hours. I now have a ddd of 5/28/20. And i filed the end of Jan. Ext 652 advised 45 day hold by 2/12. Never got the letter. Local tax advocate advised me to amend based on transcripts I didn't have al my W2's. Which i mailed off om valentines day. Contacted advocate again about a month and a half ago, she advised fax stubs for one job .  ow all seems yo be well.

I'm going through it with IRS with taxes this year too. I googled and called ever number that came up. And a few people said call this number ***** and press these numbers and you get right through to someone. Well I did it, I didn't get automatically connected like they said it took me 30 minutes but I was so happy to finally talk to someone. This is what I did I called 1-800-829-1040 when auto promos start pressed 1 then 2 then 2 then 4 then 2 even if you aren't pushing the right numbers for what you need it will get you to someone that will help you...... I hope this helped I tried for 1&1/2 months to talk to someone and finally... Good luck
