What does it mean when I checked my refund status and it says the IRS sent a letter on topic 152?

Oh and the letter I guess will take up to 2-3 weeks to get to me. They did say topic 152 but there is a lot about topic 152… smhhhhh

There is a delay in processing your tax return.    If the IRS wants more information from you they will request it in a letter.  Meanwhile, do not do anything to change your tax return.  Wait for the letter and follow instructions if they ask for anything from you.   You can continue to watch for information on the IRS refund site.
