What do I do if my status says "oops-an issue occurred. Please check back shortly"?

The exact same thing happened to me and I have spent about 20 minutes researching it with no luck.  All I know is that PENDING is common when you efile before the IRS starts processing returns but it's April 15 so that does not apply.

You can check that your return was received by the taxing authority  using these instructions: Check the Electronic Postmark of your Return. Pay close attention to the separate lines for Federal and State. They are separate statuses.
