So i filed for free but of course somehow turbo tax at end of inputting tacks on $300 in fees before I can submit it so I choose pay with return as I do every year. IRS shows DD of 2/24 on 18th so yesterday morning I messaged TurboTax and asked why I had not received, mins later my acct informed me I did not qualify for five days early and would not be charged. Then I go check Santana Barbara bank (TPG) taxpayer site bc for years I have used turbo tax and every year the second my return is accept by IRS it shows on TPG what funds they expect and fees they will take out it just shows unfunded until they actually receive it, well it says “no account” so I called Turbo tax again who then tells me TPG won’t have Account for me until money is funded to them, so I call TPG back and they told me what I already knew that they have information on day it’s received by IRS (mine was 1/17) and TurboTax must have used different processor because they have no record. I call turbo tax back and this time after her getting her manager and thirty mins go by of her not understanding where my dd is going, she tells me credit karma is processing my return and taking fees out this year which makes no sense being I did not qualify for 5 days early and I did not sign up for it to go into Credit Karma account this year!!! She said it must be error. I then call Credit karma who says they are not processing it!! I have recorded all calls and saved all messages in virtual chats and emails of the lies and run around!!! False advertising, lies after lies, they can’t even explain where your money is going from IRS before going to you!!! My bank deposits second it’s received and if it’s not by tomorrow I will be posting EVERYWHERE the recording and photos of lies I received and run around I have been given!!! This is absolutely ridiculous and considering I help ALOT of family and friends file yearly they will not only be loosing me as customer but everyone that sees this mess!!!

Ive been dealing with this all day. Back and forth bull and im sick of it.! My ex got his on the 19th filed us same day. Will never file through them again. Hopefully tomorrow.
I filed on January 24th. Accepted January 27th. As of 02/19/2025 I received the 846 code. I had my fees deducted with my tax return.
SBTPG is showing "We couldn’t find your account. Please make sure the info you entered is correct and try again or visit help.sbtpg.com for assistance." Cross River is useless, they just redirect you back to TurboTax.
TurboTax is saying the IRS is processing it and sending the refund straight to my bank account. At this point, I don't think anybody really knows what's going on. People that have filed February 5th-10th have already gotten their refunds. This is insane.
Exact same boat i filed and accept 1/30 846 on 2/18 w/ dd 2-24 file my ex same dayy he got his on the 19th!! i called sbtg no account no info from cross as welll my day was full of runaround and misinformation. Im so upset. For our sakes i just pray we get our dd tomorrow.! Times are hard and the money is needed smh
My exact issue. Nothing from cross river and since my fees were deducted with my return(that increases every year) im stuck with cross river and turbo tax not helping but pushing me off to the irs. Basically 10yrs with turbotax and this is my LAST year with them.
If you selected the up to 5 days early option, here is how the process works. With TurboTax’s Up to 5 Days Early, customers have the flexibility to have their federal refund deposited into their preferred bank account up to 5 days earlier than the date their refund would have arrived if sent from the IRS directly. The fee is taken out of customers’ refund amount only if their refund is delivered at least one day early.
Once the IRS approves a customer’s refund, TurboTax is notified and we’ll attempt to transfer their refund to their bank account. TurboTax sends customers an email letting them know if we were able to successfully deliver their refund early, or if we were unable to expedite their refund. If we were successfully able to deliver their refund early, customers can expect to see their refund in their bank account the same day they received an email from us.
If we are unable to expedite their refund, their refund will be delivered by the date provided in the IRS Where’s My Refund site and customers won’t be charged for the Up to 5 Days Early service. They’ll also see a notice that “We could not expedite your refund. No 5 day early fee was charged” as part of your TurboTax refund tracker.
