Slow down.    You cannot amend a 2020 tax return yet.   You have to wait until it has been processed.  Do not start messing with your return or try to change anything on it.

I have email that fed has accepted my 2020 return. need to amend. Where is amend button  under "your tax return and documents". Following turbo tax directions but do not see the amend button.

The Form 1040-X for amending a 2020 federal tax return will not be available until 02/26/2021

Thanks for answer that I can not use 1040x till feb 26. wish turbo tax would have posted that info. I have been searching for 1 hour. Again thanks for info.
