I am very unhappy with the 2024 version of TurboTax Deluxe. My reasons are:
Because of this, I am researching alternative software.

I printed before I e-filed and none of my pages have watermarks. Maybe it watermarks them after you file so people don't accidently mail them in addition to e-filing? It did the 1040-SR for my parents and my inlaws so I don't know what could be causing that issue unless you have a birthdate entered wrong. I did use the Premier edition though so maybe it's an issue with Deluxe?

Yeah...people are disenchanted with the Software this year for many reasons...
BUT.....if you are getting that watermark this late in the tax season, you must not have successfully updated your software. Those watermarks only appear in the very earliest versions in Nov, Dec of 2024, and thru late January 2025.
1) Run your software update, using the menu at the top of the TTX page
....>>Online>>>Check for Updates.
2) If that doesn't work, and you are using the Windows desktop software, you should download and run the "Manual Update"
Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software
I don't download the software; I just use my account on the website. I assume that would be the most recent version. As of today, it still shows the watermark on the estimated tax forms. Those should not have a watermark because they are only to be filed after your return is filed and accepted.
