turbotax interface thinks my return is complete and not letting me edit my return. how can i edit unfiled return?

The interface thinks I printed and filed my return by mail and now will not let me go into the interface to correct some of the incorrect portion of the return. How can I open the unfiled return without amending it? Turbotax is only giving me the option to "amend" even though that is incorrect since the return has not been filed yet.

Click on Add a State -- that trick will allow you back in to the software to make changes.  You do not really have to add a state return.
