Today I received 3 separate emails from intuit.com for the renewal of my advantage plan, that I do not have. I have used Turbotax in the past, but not for the last couple of years.
After investigating, they had my name, email and address correct. But the last 4 of the credit card number are false. I tried to email turbotax at spoof@intuit.com, but it no longer works.
This email serves notice that this is now happening. So far I've received 3 emails with different account numbers and totals from $180 to $380.00 charged to a credit card.
It's obvious, from the correct information, that Turbotax's system may have been compromised.
I'd like to hear from a moderator that steps are being done to prevent this from happening.
