Turbo Tax not giving good advice!!

What is the best way to remove the state income tax from Schedule A when filing an amended return for that year. Also, why didn't Turbotax advise not to take the non-deductible State Income Tax deduction and exclude refunds, when going through the interview process. Not very good! I have overpaid in 2018 and 2019!

You can go into Forms mode in the top right of your screen and select Schedule A from the forms list. 

You can then go to the specific line on Schedule A and remove the state income tax.
