Turbo Tax has been completely incompetent and misleading about my tax return.

I just filed my tax return and was given the option of deducting the fee from my refund. The fine print said that I might have to pay a bank fee for this service. The fee was FORTY BUCKS! I said "No thank you, just deposit it into my account." TT, however, was not deterred and made me another offer to get the refund within five days. Again, they charged THIRTY FIVE BUCKS for this minor convenience. If I had gone for both I would have been charged SEVENTY FIVE BUCKS!! I opted for the direct deposit and having read your experience I am glad that I did.

no still waiting they are cancelling out the checks and sending the money back to the IRS

Turbo tax cancelled the checks. Cross River Bank is the one that supposedly sends the money back to the IRS. After it did for no telling how long..... Then up to 6 weeks for IRS to cut the check..

The exactly same thing happened to me. On the same date, IRS told me they deposited my money on 02/20/2025 on CrossRiver Bank,I never received the money, or any help from TurboTax.

I've Called Turbo Tax 3 times already, nobody was capable of solving my problem. They keep sending me information from Cross River Bank, where my money was deposited, and Cross River bank does nothing. I'm really frustrated. I just want my money. It's been over a month now.
