I had both Deluxe and Premier code, together with another family. Unfortunately when I install TT2022 into my PC, I activated with Deluxe but actually I need Premier version to cover rental property and some ESPP trading. Even after uninstalled TT2022 plus restarted PC, then re-installed it, TT2022 still comes back with "Turbotax Deluxe" without asking me to type the Premier code... In this case, how can I upgrade TT2022 to Premier please?

If you are upgrading from Deluxe to Premier, then you would leave the Deluxe software on your computer & upgrade to Premier within the Deluxe software.
Upgrading is a one-way street. Once you've upgraded, you can't downgrade back to your original version.

thanks, so following this, I can just re-activate Premier using the Premier code, without paying extra to do such upgrade from Deluxe to Premier, right?
Actually Deluxe has everything Premier has. All the Desktop programs have all the same forms. You just get more help in the higher versions. To use the Premier License Code you would have to uninstall Deluxe and start new, but I don't think you can delete all the parts .
How to uninstall from Windows

Thanks for input, but I have offload TT and re-stalled it again, however seems TT remembered your HDD that it still think I'm activating Deluxe, without asking to enter new Premier code at all.
And I don't think Deluxe has everything that Premier has, otherwise all people will simply just pay for Deluxe and then get Premier version stuff done, then how can Intuit still make $ from Premier? But I sincerely wish you are right, so that in the worst case, I don't need to do any change on my current Deluxe version.
Because they don't know Deluxe has everything or they want the extra help. The higher versions are recommended but not required. You could even use Basic if you don't need a state return.
Here is the Desktop Forms listing. It doesn't say which version. They all have all the forms
Good to know and a new learn for the new year, thank you!
Next step I will try to learn it a little deeper on this, though now have figured out that we can use that "switch product" tab to switch from Deluxe to Premier.
@VolvoGirl sorry to bring this topic up again: I did check your posted link again, yah it has all forms and didn't say which version it's, so seems all versions of TT will have all those forms, but just whether we understand how to fill them correctly?
So in this case, even the free version will have all needed forms even for rental home biz, IF we know how to fill all those form correctly? I guess there will be NO such step-by-step wizard to help to fill those forms, right?
No that is only in the Desktop CD/Download programs have all the forms. In the Online versions you do need to upgrade to enter certain things. Like to enter investments or K-1 you need Premier.
In the regular Turbo Tax Online Free Edition, information that you can enter is limited now. Why do I have to upgrade from the Free Edition?
