I was said when I called the IRS that I would be receiving my amended tax return by May 3rd & I didn’t receive it. When will I receive it???

Only the IRS can answer that. They do not advise TT.
However, refunds for amended returns are paid by mail with a check. Perhaps the IRS mailed it to you on May 3.

Did you amend your return by preparing a Form 1040X that you printed, signed and mailed? That is the ONLY way to amend a tax return, and it takes about 3-4 months for the IRS to process an amended return.

Wait about 3 weeks from mailing and you can check the status of your amended return:
