Told I have offset by tax advocate but it’s not showing on wmr nor when I call irs nor have I gotten a letter about it so I’m confused wmr has code 1541

Filed and accepted 01/29 received letter 02/06 stating I have been selected for review allow 45-60 from date letter received its 04/04 and still nothing wmr still says delay in processing return. Tax advocate says I have a debt that could probably take my refund but haven’t received notice about it nor has an irs agent mentioned it to me when I called

If your return is still in review, you will not receive a notice and/or refund until the review is completed.

Once completed, your status will change on WMR and if the refund is taken for an offset, you will receive a notice.

Right now, it sounds like your tax return is still in review.

 NOTE: You can also contact the IRS Treasury Offset Program Call Center at 1-800-304-3107 to ask if they have an offset for you on file. TurboTax would not have that information.
