I had to fax the it's a 1095-A and a 8962 form so how long will it be before they process my return how will I know if my return amount changes didn't have to do amended?

Update! I just spoke with a representative at the IRS and she confirmed that they have received the 1095 and 8962 she said i should get it within 6 weeks of the date I sent the documents in which is different from what the previous representatives said which was 6-8 weeks lol. She couldn't tell me what my refund amount changed too but I already know the amount I was just asking her a lot of questions to see how much information she would give me. But I haven't received that much information from anyone else besides her so that's a good thing.

yay that's good news, now just the waiting game again LOL, I was just happy they were able to confirm that it was received. I feel a lot better now!

So I called today and was told my return was rejected. Mind u I been waiting 7 weeks and been calling every week and was never told that. I faxed my documents on Feb 27th and I received letter stating to send 8962 and 1095A. I been told this whole time they haven't received nothing. I was told to refax I did tht Mon.. So when rep told me it was rejected the 1st day and possibly accepted they second day. So that could probably be the hold up. I was like wtf why would they be telling me to send anything if it was rejected. So I called back later and another rep apologized and said that didn't make sense and I was given wrong info. She said they had my return and it was accepted. But they haven't received my forms. It will be 8 weeks next Wed she said if I dnt hear anything call back and they will send referral to tht department to see what's going and to push them for a refund. She said there is other options tht take place when you dnt hear anything by the 8th week. She was really nice. It just shows you the IRS will tell you anything. Smh I'm so over this tax year.

@shaunte1v now that's crazy!! They can only tell you what have been noted on your account when you call. It's very strange that the one rep would tell you it was rejected if it wasn't you can't just make that up she got that info from somewhere. And then it was accepted the next day. I have never heard of a tax return being rejected and then accepted the next day. Sounds like them reps needs new jobs lol. That would have drove me real quick.

Girl I got instant attitude. I was like why nobody else told me tht. I'm like I been waiting almost 8 weeks and nothing is going on with my shit because it was rejected. So now I'm mad with my tax lady. I called her and she said it went through the 1st time she submitted. And I remember the emails and stuff that was sent saying it was accepted and all tht so I was confused. Until I called back and the other rep said that wasn't possible it I was told by a rep and sent a letter requesting documents. She said only hold up is me sending the 2 forms other than tht nothing is wrong with my acct. I'm thinking what do they see in the system. They need to get a better process. This is ridiculous. It's just crazy I swear it gets more interesting by the week talking different people. Its almost like they drag it out exactly to the 8 weeks. From what the rep said they gotta have some answers to what's going on by then

@shaunte1v I'm so over this tax season I just want and NEED my dam money. They have to get a better system, more employees or something that can give us accurate information. It's OUR money why should we have to wait and submit documents after our taxes is filed. Communication between tax preparers and the IRS needs to be better as well they should know what we need before they file our taxes. The killing part about mine is I had my 1095A when I went to file but the rep didn't ask for it so I figured I didn't need it.

@mj7641  I did the same thing, I told them I faxed my docs a couple days prior than I really did to see what they would say and she said we have them but the day your giving me doesn't match up it seems we received them on the 12th of march. Her doing that confirmed they do have them because I actually did send them on the 12th LOL. I did that on purpose because I wanted to see what they would say since I kept getting "the nothing is showing up yet" reason. I also agree they need a new system, we as taxpayers are required to follow these rules but yet we have to sit back and just basically take it that they are holding our monies.

Update!!! WMR updated and I have a DDD for April 24th! Refund went up from the original amount by 1,000 dollars. It took exactly 4 weeks and 1 day from the date I faxed the 1095A with 8962. About dam time! Good luck everyone!
