If my refund on the IRS website says still processing does it mean I will be audited?

A good amount of people at work are experiencing the same thing. I'm trying to figure out how they thought this wasn't going to cause problems. How did they think people weren't going to get mad this is our money.

They have  already held our money for over a year.  I am going to call everyday .  Maybe 2 times  a day. I have lots of time before and after work.... this really sucks.  Thanks government for being so understanding.  So what will happen next year when our refunds are supposedly going to be bigger due to the changes??????

This seems to be a Turbo Tax related issue.  I have many friends and family and coworkers who filed with HR Block or a CPA firm and they are getting the same EIC and ACTC that I am and they got their money in 9 days or less.  I think I used the wrong company and probably won’t do it again.

Lol it has been so great knowing other people are experiencing this ( not waiting for our money of course) but after the first few weeks of no change I thought I did something wrong. Now I see it's just bs in the making. I was wondering if it was just Turbo Tax as well. There's a group on FB called Where's my refund and alot of people on there are waiting just like us and quite a few used Turbo Tax. I've used it every year and this is the only year this has happened

If it is Turbo taxes fault, they need to refund our money. This will be my last year using them and they don't help give us any answers neither does the IRS I really wonder why they are doing so many people like this without just cause?

Yep.  I am really concerned this is a Tuebo Tax related issue the more I hear.  No one that I know used Turbo Tax but me an they all got there money with no issues.  I have never had this problem before this year and I won’t take the chance to do it again.  We need to let the IRS k know we are pissed and change or W4 so that we get more in our paychecks and we all owe them $10.00 next year and they can work on collecting all that money.  So there government.  You can’t use my money anymore.  You just done and list your abilities to use me and hurt me... suckers

I have a friend that use turbo tax and she received her money on the 22 I dont understand why it takes do long to do a review and why I still haven't recieved my state part its nerve wrecking cause still no letter at all

So I finally got an update.. I told myself o going to call every week until I get an answer of why my refund is on an 45 day review. So apparently my wages aren't reported on my refund HOW NOT? Idk it's is trying to figure out how did I get the EIC and CTC and my wages aren't there. I asked was it fault of my tax preparer and she said no they have to just verify my wages with my employer because of the amount my refund is for. "the new law passed" due to a lot of fraud BUT I've gotten back way more last year nothing was verified then.  I was told it may not be 45 days but I have alerts set up to my phone when a direct deposit hits my bank account I'll get an email, so when it comes Oh happy day, oh happy day

I contacted IRS Advocate services and they work with ppl having hardships due to not receiving their taxes, their suppose to get to the bottom of why you've not gotten your taxes and work on expediting this goofy process. I believe they IRS ran low on funds and we are paying for It!

Still no letter in the mail and no update on wmr

Don't wait on letters get a tax advocate. I have not recieved any thing and they are questioning my 1099 from the state of Ga and my w2 form. My refund is on hold until I fax over documents to get a release. They playing really dirty this year. Don't settle or keep waiting.

They are verifying my Unemployment wages paid and one W2 form. I know for a fact you all have the same info I have especially from the state. But I'm going to send over as much document's as I can to be done with this.
