Hello I’ve amended my taxes for 2017 and they gave me a new amount for my IRS refund will that amount add to my previous amount or is that the final amount

The refund amount on an amended return will be in addition to any previous refund amount you received on your 2017 tax return. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for additional information on how the refund math works on an amended return:
