No. The IRS does not share any information with TurboTax after you file your tax return. Your only source of information is the IRS. Only the IRS can explain the delay. If the IRS wants more information from you they will mail you a letter.
And...when they "Accepted" your tax return initially...it just meant that the receiving computer didn't find any obvious errors in the data it received...but it didn't check it in detail yet.
The computers at the IRS will still have to look deeper into the data it has for your file in the weeks that follow the initial acceptance. Sometimes, the IRS computers even kick out a file for manual review....randomly...even if no actual problems were found.
