The employer sent my hisband's 1099MISC. We are still waiting to file our taxes. What can we do? How it would be to file an amendment?

Do you mean you won't get the 1099Misc in time?  You can file an extension.  Or you should know the amount.  You don't need the actual 1099Misc.  You can enter it as Other self employment income.

Do you know that is self employment income and you will need to upgrade to the Self Employed version.  You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version.

If you have not already filed, you would not file an amendment, you would just go back in and make the changes. If you have trouble getting back in, say you want to "add a state", just to get into the program.
