I e-filed and choose to have tax refund directly deposited into my checking account by 4/17/2023. Today is 4/17/2023! Where is my money? I'm scared! Because I am fighting an eviction!

Sorry you can not choose when to get the refund.  Only the IRS can send it to you and knows when.   Turbo Tax only gives you an estimated date.  The IRS says it pays most refund in 21 days.  

Did you have a tax due?  Then you pick when to pay it.  Better watch your bank account.
