Hi!
I just noticed on my 2020 return, that I had a state and local taxes paid deduction of 102...but I live in a state where no income or local taxes are levied and I don't remember claiming that deduction. Seems strange, any thoughts on why that may have happened?

Local taxes can include sales taxes as well as property taxes. Do these sound familiar?
Especially with the sales tax, if you navigate through the Itemized Deductions section, with just a little effort, TurboTax will calculate the sales tax for you.
I didn't pay any property taxes....and it's possible I crossed into a state that had some sales taxes and purchased something there, but I dont see how TurboTax could know any of that without me looking at my receipts and putting it in.
If you paid no State Income Taxes, TurboTax may have calculated a Sales Tax Deduction for you. It is based on your income and number of people on your return. You may have been asked what the Sales Tax Rate is for your locality.
Here's more info on How Sales Tax Deduction is Calculated.
@MarilynG1 Ok, that's interesting. I don't remember being asked that and there is no sales tax for my locality.
You may have paid an auto registration fee based on the value of your vehicle.
