Our efile keeps getting rejected because it says my spouse's AGI is incorrect. We did not file late, we did not amend, AND, we even pulled an IRS transcript to ensure they (or we) did not have an incorrect amount. It says mine is correct, and hers is wrong. (They are the same. We did my son and daughter, and they had no issues.) I am seeing others here have this issue, so is there possibly a TT glitch? Should I try another software, and see if it goes through...? We already paid TT to efile with the state, but now we are told, oh, just mail everything in on paper?!? (Our state will not accept an efile unless the federal has been accepted.) After YEARS of TT, we may, sadly, have to try something else.

Others with this complication, have been suggested to try $0 for the spouse. Each has reported back that that worked for them. Seems TT doesn't have the spousal AGI right but $0 allows to continue.
Report back if it doesn't work. Perhaps an expert here has a better answer for you.
Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file again
If the IRS rejects the return again enter a 0 for the 2020 AGI for both of you and e-file again.
My AGI have been confirmed. TURBO still rejects the Efile. Saying mail it is not an option customers want to hear.
TURBO is not the best solution for some. It stinks
@petE4lovE - understand it is NOT Turbo Tax that is rejecting the efile - it is the IRS..... if you use another software package and key in everyone exactly the same, it's going to reject again - because it's the IRS that rejects returns, not the software providers
do you get any sort of message or code for the reason of the reject?
