South Carolina sent me a Notice of Proposed Adjustment. How do I counter this? It doesn't make sense that I owe more money to them almost a year later..

What did they change?  Maybe they are right.  Or is it for the tax due?  Do you have proof you paid it?

If you don't understand the notice you will need to call the SC department of revenue. we cannot see the notice.
