If my refund on the IRS website says still processing does it mean I will be audited?

Mine only say my return has been accepted and processing all this they are doing is giving me a headache its to many individuals waiting for they refund I know it dont take 2 months to do check something thats done by a computer

I looked back at my return and i supposed to get a $100 less. Im pretty sure it shouldn't take a whole month and two weeks to compute that. W2's are right there, compute the information and release.

The tax advocates really are not that helpful.  Maybe it depends on who you get but I have had no success getting anything from anyone.

Rinehartjennifer thankyou for your feedback. That's crazy that they have our information right on front of them and can't tell us more. It's like what is the purpose of you working. Idk, im going to call IRS again this a.m. to see what's what. Besides the error in getting back $100 less, i don't see any other errors. Names, children, social numbers, and job are all the same as last year etc.

Hope this helps an advocate told me they have 2 departments investigating to make sure employment can be verified and that you can prove who it says you are on your return but the its won't tell you this. I think this is only affecting people who used the turbo tax software

Today no letter in the mail so I decided to call IRS. I spoke to the representative and he told me that of course their doing reviews for people with EIC & CTC. He also told me my refund was supposed to be sent out on 2-23, but of course they pulled it on that date and started reviewing and now im looking at 45 days from there which puts me April 9. I told him that they told me feb 14, and he said he saw that but today the system updated today. He also said it could be sooner than April 9, there's no way for him to be sure.

Soo my parents filed after me like a week or 2 they originally chose direct deposit but it's informed them that there is a limit now on how much they could deposit so they are sending a check instead... Surprise surprise their check came today and I still have no other information about mine.
