If the third party bank mailed you a check it would have been because you provided incorrect banking information for the direct deposit--either an incorrect account number or an incorrect routing number, or a closed account. When that happens, your own bank refuses the deposit and returns it to the source--the third party bank. Then the third party bank has to issue and mail a check to the address on your tax return. When they mail it they use a plain envelope and send it first class mail. Make sure you open all of your mail, even mail that looks like it might be junk mail.
Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax. TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.
Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.
You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com

Sorry, but neither TT nor STPG controls how fast the IRS delivers mail. All you can do is ask STPG to stop payment on the check, and mail you a new one.
