Should I print up a voucher and sent the IRS my Tax due amount since when I e-filed and I thought I set up for the amount to come out of my account but did not?

If I pay the IRS will they let me know if there is a late fee I will need  to pay?

If you did not pay the federal taxes owed by mailing a check, paying by credit card or paying by direct debit from your bank account then you should go to the IRS payment website and use Direct Pay for the 2022 taxes owed - https://www.irs.gov/payments

After the IRS receives and process your payment they will send you a bill in the mail for any penalties and interest owed.

Before making an additional payment, I would try and determine why a payment wasn't taken.  If it is only a few days, your return might not be processed yet.  Or, maybe you used the wrong bank account number or had a typo.

If the payment is just slow, you risk having the IRS take the payment anyway, on top of your manual payment.  They will eventually return the difference, but it may take a few months.

If you used the wrong number for your bank, you can expect that the IRS will add a "bounced check" fee to any interest and late fees you might owe.
