I go to the WMR site and it says We can not provide any info about your refund. To call IRS and give Ref# 9001 what does this mean

Filed Jan 22 accepted Jan 28, I had past due returns for Years 14, 15, sent everything by mail dec of last year, then the shutdown, yeah, got the cp notice still after showing them I’m the one who lost two refunds not  them , bc three years statue, I had to fax everything again, tried to fax kids lol, after talking to so many reps calling the # above, they gave me so many different answers, must say they were nice, but my refund was held still for current year, it’s been weeks, I was told 9 weeks 6 and 45 days, I can going on, however today,
I call the DRI  Collection dept, put me on hold, came back said my refund is now released, said I should see an update and will get a refund in 2 weeks cycle. Praying she’s being for real. Sorry for any typos, I will update if honest was given.

I agree on verification letter, I know for sure I had to verify bc of my CP 63 notice, I also have a 599 on TC account, I’m  just going to wait on update to see if I get release codes.

I filed on 1/30 and was accepted on 1/31 and a week later got the error core 9001 tax topic 152 bullshit. After waiting until 2/25 to get my letter I verified my ID over the phone on 2/28. It’s now 3/7 and it still has the same error code 9001 tax topic 152 stupid message when I check on wmr. How long after y’all verified did that go away. I feel like I’m in the dark over here. I don’t know anyone else who is going thru this and it is beyond frustrating!!

@Schneider other than receiving the verification letter and verifying, I filed on the 18th and accepted on the 20th wmr showed 9001 152 b.s so I called first they said my return looked good then I called days later they said I had to verify, I asked had a letter been mailed they said no I had to wait 21 days , long story short I called the verification number yesterday spoke to a lady she said no letter had been sent out as I was told and she sent it to me supposedly. I am beyond frustrated,  i dont know how long if the letter was actually sent to me , it will take to get here. So literally i am a step behind you and all of this sucks .

This morning I still  have 9001 on WMR, but my transcript updated  to  846 refund issue 3/13
And my 2015 transcript updated to another 846 refund issued 3/15. Thank God! And I can’t believe there sending my past due return.
