I received a letter that says "schedule 1 is incomplete or missing from your return. Complete the schedule with information that supports $250.00 on line 8a, form 1040. Also, attach all supporting forms or schedules as required." I found my pdf which contains schedule 1 with the adjustment to income applied on line 10 as educator expenses for 250. What do I have to do? Do I print out schedule 1 again or do I provide proof (receipts) of my educator expenses?

You could try to call the IRS to ask, but you might have trouble reaching them. Sounds like they didn’t get Schedule 1so send it to them making sure that the 250 is on line 10.
Simply supply the requested form as directed.
