Rejected?

I am a stay at home mom with no income of my own. My fiance supports the family. So I don't file taxes. I just filed on TT through the stimulus link last week night and about 5 minutes ago, I was rejected. All my information is 100% accurate so I'm not sure as to why this happened. Anyone else experience this?

Does your BF claim you as a dependent?  If you are claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return you will not get the stimulus check.

No, no one claims me. That's why I'm not understanding why I was rejected. I also never received an email with a rejection code. Just a text saying I was rejected.

A text?  TurboTax does not text you.  Who sent you a text?

I'm not sure who the text was from. It was a 5 digit number. But on the TT website,  it does say my stimulus return was rejected.

I just found out the reject code!

It is Reject Code IND-516-01.

So I guess someone DID claim me after all! I'm printing my return now and will be mailing it out. Unfortunately, now I'm out a desperately needed $1200!!

So sorry to hear that! I’m curious where you found the rejection code? I’m also a stay at home mom, but my 2yr old and I live alone, as we have since March 2018. I am head of household, and her father has the typical 1st, 3rd, and 5th (if there is one) visitation on weekends, so my daughter is my dependent. However, mine was rejected within perhaps ten minutes of filing through email and text. It says I need to print and mail it (curious to how I’m going to find a place to print it with everything closed), but I see no rejection code as to why.
