Refund still under review, I filed my tax refund in late January as recommended by TurboTax to file early. Due to the second stimulus check error like thousands of Americans I did not think I was going to get it therefore I claim the rebate recovery credit. I received A code 151 return under review . I received a notice in the mail that stated the address needed to make an adjustment on my tax return due to claim in the rebate recovery credit However it was received after I filed. Notice continued to say if I agree do nothing if I disagreed file an appeal I had any questions or concerns to call. About a week and a half ago I received a partial refund I have a small amount which basically was the federal that was withheld. So I called TurboTax TurboTax could not tell me anything so I called the IRS after waiting on the phone for 10 hours I finally got through and they could not tell me anything. This is about a week later and I still do not have a status change on the IRS website no additional money has been deposited into my account and I don't have any other information other than what I have received. I do not know what to do this is very stressful . Can a TurboTax agent please assist me with finding out where my refund is?

Sorry. The IRS does not/will not tell TurboTax anything about your refund. Once your return has been filed and accepted, TurboTax gets no information at all. This is only controlled by the IRS. You can try calling them again to see what they changed, or they should be sending you a letter that explains why they changed your refund.
To call the IRS:IRS: 800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Mon-Fri
Listen to each menu before making the selection.
First choose your language. Press 1 for English.
Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions." It should then transfer you to an agent.
Yes I called found out what the problem was apparently there was some technical errors made on behalf of TurboTax and a bunch of people got audited not blaming it completely on TurboTax , I know mistakes happen. However why were we not contacted about this so that we could've sent some information ahead of time and we wouldn't still be waiting . I know there were other issues liked Covid and the new tax laws but the American people are struggling . I'm in with TurboTax for 35 years and not once ever had this happen . This is absolutely devastating and sure hope this gets resolved. Quickly :(
