Refund Advance

So I applied for the refund advance and didn't receive anything. I haven't received any emails regarding it either. I called turbo tax and credit karma. I was told by both that it's showing pending in the system but they don't know why. I did my own research and it seems this same thing happened to a lot of people and they never ended up receiving an advance. I now believe this is all a scam to get people to sign up for a credit karma account and deposit their refund there. I NEVER would have opened up or deposit my refund into a credit karma account if I didn't think they would send me a refund advance. I am EXTREMELY upset. Turbo tax will not see me next year despite filing with them for 7 years straight, I am done!
