When will my refund be deposited into my Credit Karma Money™ Spend account?*

SOLVEDby TurboTax604Updated January 13, 2023

Once the IRS accepts your tax return, it usually issues refunds within 21 days. However, you could receive your refund up to 5 days early by having it deposited into a Credit Karma Money Spend account.**

The IRS typically won't start accepting e-filed tax returns until late January. For information about your state refund, contact your state Department of Revenue.

Remember: You must activate your Credit Karma Visa® Debit Card*** (and/or add your virtual debit card to your mobile wallet using the Credit Karma app) to access your funds.

*Banking services provided by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC. Maximum balance and transfer limits apply per account.

**If you choose to pay your tax preparation fee with TurboTax using your federal tax refund or if you choose to take the Refund Advance loan, you will not be eligible to receive your refund up to 5 days early. 5-day early program may change or discontinue at any time. Up to 5 days early access to your federal tax refund is compared to standard tax refund electronic deposit and is dependent on and subject to IRS submitting refund information to the bank before release date. IRS may not submit refund information early.

***Credit Karma Visa® Debit Card issued by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Visa terms and conditions apply.
