I e-filed 1 week ago and immediately received a rejection notice from TurboTax telling me one of the EIN #'s on my W-2's was incorrect. I immediately reviewed the entries and corrected it; however, I never received the 'rejected' screen in TurboTax, it only stated 'pending' status. I have the desktop version of TurboTax. I called TurboTax and they said that I must have resubmitted the updated file and my taxes were still being processed by the IRS. However, I wasn't ever able to resubmit after making my updates because the 'reject' screen never appeared. When will my status move from Pending?
I also submitted my son's taxes the same day and immediately received a rejection notice from TurboTax stating that his Pin or AGI entered was incorrect. Again, the same thing happened and we've never received the 'Reject' screen and his taxes are still in a pending state. Because the 'reject' screen hasn't appeared, I have no way to resolve the issue with his taxes. I want to resolve these issues and get our taxed filed. Please advise how we can proceed and move our taxes from Pending status. Thank you

Look for an ACTION NEEDED! email from turbotax@intuit.com. It will give you a brief explanation of your rejection and how to fix it.
If you did not receive an email then sign in to TurboTax, select Fix my return, and you will see your reject code and explanation.
How do I fix a rejected return?
The pending timeframe varies, but normally it takes 24-48 hours. Also, the identity-protection safeguards implemented by the IRS in recent years may account for longer wait times. Eventually, you will receive an email letting you know whether or not your return has been accepted or rejected. TurboTax FAQ "What does Pending mean? "states, "Pending simply means that your e-filed return is on its way and that the government hasn't accepted or rejected it yet.
E-filed returns generally sit in Pending status for 24-48 hours before coming back as either Accepted or Rejected. Sometimes state returns stay in Pending for several days or even longer. If you contact the government or try to look up your refund status while your return is still pending, don't be surprised if they tell you "no record found." This is normal; until the government starts reviewing and processing your return, they won't have any record of it."
What does "Pending" mean?
Thank you for your response.
I e-filed using the Desktop version on 2/19, and I immediately received a rejection email from Turbo tax. I'm unable to follow the steps in the email or make any updates to my taxes because they have remained in 'Pending' status since 2/19. It seems the video link you provided includes steps to correct your returns if you filed while logged into your TurboTax account online, which I did not. It's been 12 days so far and I'm still unable to fix anything and resubmit my Federal taxes and my State taxes have also been rejected because the Federal was rejected. I've paid for the State filing and I hope that Turbo Tax allows me to e-file or will refund me if I have to mail my taxes.
Are there no other options to resolve this issue for those of us who filed using the Desktop version of TurboTax and our taxes are showing in a Pending state, but are rejected, for an extended period of time? I read several other posts who have similar issues to what I'm experiencing. Thank you.

My taxes are still pending after fixing 3 rejection
is this uncommon it’s been over three days how can I fix this and why is it stuck in pending
Pending simply means that your e-filed return is on its way and that the government hasn't accepted or rejected it yet. Usually this happens when there is a high volume of traffic of people filing their returns. Please be patient.
