Received notice CP74 and was wondering if the 6 week wait is from the day file or is the 6week time frame from the day of the notice?

probably six weeks from the date the 8862 was processed.

More likely the six weeks is from the time of the notice, but in reality, trying to split hairs and expect an exact date will just make you crazy.   Do not mark your calendar for exactly six weeks out and expect the deposit.    All you can do is watch the refund site and watch your account for the deposit.
