Can I get turbotax amendment software for 2017 return for MAC. there's a link for windows and online version says that oct 15 was the deadline to amend online.

You will need to request a download of the Mac desktop installation file so that you can amend the 2017 tax return you completed and filed using the 2017 online editions.

Online is says login to 2017 return and "amend a filed return" - THIS IS NOT IN MENU.

Another location suggests downloading amendment software. Which cannot be done without signing in. Once signed in, cannot find the software to download. 

This should not be so hard.

1. You should now be working inside the copy you'll be amending. Inside your program, search for amend and then click the "Jump to" link.
2. Continue past the We'll help you change (amend) your return screen.
3. On the following screen, Have you already filed this return? select the first option (Yes) and then select I need to amend my 2017 return. Click Continue and then carefully follow the onscreen instructions to amend.

These instructions do not work for CD/2017 Turbotax Delux. No such "amend" can be found in menu.
