But did u have a refund advance or fees taken out? And when u check the get payment status does it say it’s being deposited in the account ending in last 4 of your ss#

If we have access to our 2018 prepaid debit card how can we open the account to receive funds there or do we have to wait to get paper checks?

Everyone who had fees taken out are being screwed by turbo tax! And that is bullsh*t!!! We need our money to support our families and now we are going to have to sit and wait for a paper check for months!!!! I will never use turbo tax again and neither will any friends or family! I'm contacting a lawyer today about this because this is ridiculous. And now the app and site are down and they arent taking calls....that proves they know they f*cked up!!

How did you speak with them when they are not accepting calls?... Heck, I just tried automated service and even that is not working. Not to mention my stimulus has not hit nor does it show pending..

I havent spoke with them today. I spoke with 3 people yesterday and they assured me we would get our money on our cards. But checking the irs tool proves they lied! Big surprise lol. Cant talk to anyone now cuz they are having "technical difficulties" according to automated message I got earlier when I called. Now when I call it says call cant be completed.

I did not have fees taken out and my return both state and federal was free however when I go to the irs website to enter my information after I input my zipcode the site crashes every time so I don't know what that will tell me however I did get the deposit to my turbo card at around 8am this morning

Hey All,

I had to respond for all those watching this thread who recieved a refund advance or had their fees directly taken out of their taxes this year. You will most likely need to use the new IRS tool to submit DD info as I just did. I went to their new tool to check the status of my payment and it told me they did not have enough information to DD my payment. I was however able to enter my DD info and will now recieve my DD though probably not for at least a week knowing the IRS. I know this is not the answer we have all been hoping for but at least it is a final answer unlike the ones we have gotten from TT.

Also I looked at my 2019 return and the numbers for DD matched the numbers of my TT Card yet somehow the IRS did not have enough information which means that the return I can download is NOT the one TT sent to the IRS. This is a bit too shady on TT part so I will never use TT ever again.

@PatGetchell  did you enter your turbo card routing and account number on the irs tool or a different account? Wondering if I enter my turbo routing and account if it will then be able to send it. And I agree I wont use turbo tax again either nor will anyone I know. My account and routing on tax forms match what is for my turbo card as well so I dont understand either why they dont have  enough info either. That proves shady stuff is going on and obviously our returns are being altered before being sent to irs.

I had my taxes direct deposited on my turbo card. The irs just set up a site to enter your banking information. When i went under the irs site they had no banking information. I filled everything in so hopefully that works

This is the last year I'm doing business with TurboTax, so good job!

H&R Block screwed me over in 2010 and I haven't done business with them since, and TurboTax screwed me this year on the stimulus especially as you all knew the answer if you had fees deducted but kept bull**bleep**eing us like you didn't know. Your employees lied or obfuscated, and its unacceptable.

Hope it was worth it. I'm small potatoes personally but I've got a lot of influence.

They told me like 4 days ago that I wouldn’t get it on my prepaid card & will receive it in the mail. Did that change?

Yeah, they're up to something, and its not acceptable. I'd recommend getting a tax transcript from the IRS so you can prove they're altering something because I'd be willing to bet that audits are going to be on the way since they're lying to us and they're probably lying to the IRS too.

They've been telling people both, they told me both that I wouldn't get it and that I would. I'm pretty sure they knew for sure that we wouldn't get it but for some reason didn't want to own up to it. Fortunately the IRS has Get my payment up at https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment and you can update it there.
