Weird about the 2/18/21 new CA form available as of today because my sister/mom/friend who all filed CA state returns + federal on 2/15/21 got accepted no issues, thru turbo tax program.
There is no point contacting TurboTax. Based on what I’m hearing you will only get ‘maybe’ which means that don’t know. Based on the ftb site they started accepting returns in January but all forms were not available. I don’t see why we can’t refile if California has not accepted our return.
Were you able to correct it at TurboTax?
@JimPB you are not alone. Some of the people in this group have received an e-mail rejecting their CA return stating that they need to fix it (no errors). Once they clicked fixed the return was resubmitted and accepted within minutes. Others, like us are waiting for that e-mail. I filed on the 13th and til this day still shows pending. Others filed before the 13th and have the same issue. We received a generic letter from TT stating that it will take about 48 hrs to get a response since they are reviewing our return. So it is just a matter of waiting and see what happens.
Has everyone with this problem received an email from TT? I certainly did not.....

Nope! No email. No updates. Still pending still so answers since feb 5th
Just now, today, photo snap of TurboTax again checking status and CA FTB stating they have not received any thing.
This not the way to keep loyal customers.
I am still in limbo and getting more frustrated.

Seem to me that TT developers themself know how junk e-file is, don't even bother to use it themself to discover the issue.

I'll bet if they knew they were going to lose 25-50% of their customers that they would be more proactive with customer service and communication to assuage the concerns of that customer base. This may be the last time I use their products.
First...and Last.....time I will use TurboTax.
I always used a tax accountant in the past, but decided I would save a little and do it myself.
I will not make that mistake again.

Coming across the same issue ... state shows pending and Federal was accepted soon after done.
