Why would CA state return still show as pending after 2 days?

I woke up this morning to a huge install to the california software needing on my Turbotax desktop (Costco purchased) program. I am doing the install now. Will update this post accordingly....

Got a message this morning my California was rejected due to issues with the turbotax software and that the issue should be fixed today.

Hmmm was this via email? I haven't received any message but I did get a call from a lady at the office of turbo tax president...she is suppose to call me back today

I also filed onthe 15th.  Federal accepted wihtin minutes.  CA State still pending.

yep, got the email about my CA getting rejected this morning and went and checked online and this was the reason that was given.

I contacted the state of California Franchise Tax Board and they had no record of my state taxes being filed, even though TurboTax said it is pending.  The state of CA FTB said they have received numerous calls about the pending state tax returns from TurboTax.

I installed the update this morning 02/18/21.  Ran the review.  No errors.

What date did you e-file? I did get a huge software update to my desktop (Costco) Turbotax but after I installed it, no changed mine is still pending for CA state.....

Same here. I installed the big update this morning - but nothing has changed. 

I submitted on Feb. 4. The Federal return was accepted on Feb. 13. TurboTax shows the California return as still pending on Feb. 18. California's own state site says my return has not yet been submitted.

I have tried calling TurboTax but I couldn't get through to a human. I went around in circles while a cheery automated voice told me that my federal refund was on its way. Very, very frustrating.

About my timeline...e-filed 2/1/21...fed accepted 2/11/21...CA still pending.

Heck I just got my federal refund deposited this morning! lol
