Why is my refund taking so long

I just check my statues and it said taking longer than expected

Vanguard receives no information about the timing of refunds. Your only source of information is the IRS.

TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return, so no one at TT knows why your refund is taking longer.   You just have to watch the IRS refund site.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
