I was waiting since 1/27, pending finally federal and state were both accepted today after 6 days i claimed ev credit , no dependents or eic
@IrritatedAF Apparently the pressure of people here and probably people calling them makes them release the tax returns of everybody with the issues and probably 99% got rejected from IRS. I decided to remove the EV car credits and boom, 2 mins later was accepted by the IRS. TT was lying to everyone since this issue started.
@Piercethestar good for you in that case. In my case and others the EV car was not listed on the IRS database and I had to resolve with the dealership to then call IRS. I just decide to remove the Ev credits and move on. Lesson learned.
I submitted mine on Jan 30th and it’s still not showing if it’s accepted or rejected
My state got accepted last night. 3 days later
I filed on 01/18. It was JUST rejected today. It has something to do with an energy credit (we installed a EE water heater and appliance).
At this point I have already filed with cashapp for free and it was immediately accepted when I did that.
I went in and switched my tax return to the "free edition". It won't let me clear it since it was already e-filed once. I'm just gonna let it sit there. No funny business trying to charge me though. TT really dropped the ball this year. Communication would of made everything better.
